Malam adalah waktu tidur

Keburukan keje shif malam:

• kehidupan jadi abnormal
• meja penuh dgn mancis yg patah gara-gara menyengkang kelopak mata
• produktiviti berkadar songsang dgn masa – produktiviti menghampiri sifar
• temporary masuk dlm kategori OKU – kurang upaya utk focus
• pemikiran bernas tidak wujud sama skali pada waktu begini
• keje sume separuh jadi – kerja jadian?
• seram dengar anjing menyalak – takut ada pencuri!
• kadar kehampehan Maxis Broadband meningkat 1000%!
• kena kerja Jumaat malam sebab mgikut masa bekerja US.. arghhhh

Disebabkan oleh sebab-sebab tersebut, aku tulis blog tiap-tiap malam. Frekuensi penulisan blog jadi berganda! Facebook jd tempat hangout. Aku salahkan waktu kerja yg tak best ni! Haha bgs tak alasan utk malas bekerja setiap malam? Bkn malas tapi pale berat semacam smgt pon jadi lemau. Mmg tak berkat *sigh*

Aku tabik spring kepada mereka yg mampu bekerja dgn cemerlang ketika org lain berseronok di alam mimpi!

Time

The clock is ticking very slowly. It’s 36 minutes pass 4am. I’m working the Batman shift this week. My boss gave the green light to go off at 5 instead of the planned 630 but man, time flies real slowwwwww whenever you wait on it. Familiar feeling, huh? Time would go slow-mo whenever the eyes can’t stop from glancing at the clock, super fast when you don’t think about it.

Being 27, now is the talk about single life, marriages, the newly weds, the first and second child. About half a decade from now it’s gonna be about kindergarten, primary school. Then high school, uni. You would already be the proud parent by now. Soon after it’d be the era of receiving new family members: in-laws, grandchildren. Add a few more years to that, you’d be busy dying your silver hair to black, talking who’s got cancer and who have passed on. It’s a cycle of life; whatever our parents have gone through it’s our turn now.

May I suggest next time when ppl ask when are you going to get yourself hitched, you could tell them “let the time tells”

Finally, after all the ramblings about time, it’s the time for me to go to bed!

Lima sekeluarga maut

Dua minggu sebelum ketibaan Ramadan yg sangat dinantikan oleh umat Islam sedunia, lima sekeluarga maut akibat keracunan makanan.

Mangsa yang pertama, adik yang bongsu ditemui mati di ruang dapur. Bedah siasat menjumpai sisa racun dalam dos yg tinggi dalam sistemnya. Dos yang terlampau ini membunuh anak kecil ini serta merta. Menurut si ibu, kali terakhir dia lihat Ucu, anak bongsunya itu hidup ketika makan ayam goreng drumstik sebelum masuk tidur malam tadi.

Selang sehari kemudian, anak yang ketiga pula diracun dan diikuti oleh along dan angah, masing-masing mati keracunan dgn kaedah yang sama. Ketiga-tiga anaknya telah makan ayam goreng sebelum ditemui mati. Kematian mereka ini menggemparkan seluruh kampung; semua gentar dan tertanya-tanya siapakah yang akan jadi mangsa pembunuh bersiri ini. Sungguh tidak berhati perut! Mak Siti, ibu kepada empat org anak ini meluahkan ketidakpuashatiannya pada media. Di manakah keadilan?! Titisan air mata menggambarkan Ramadan kali ini sudah tidak bererti lagi kepada ibu tunggal ini.

Tiga hari menjelang Ramadan, Mak Siti pula menjadi korban! CSI bertungkus lumus utk menyelesaikan kes bunuh ini. Ketua polis daerah sudah memberi amaran, jika kes ini tidak selesai dalam masa 24jam, FBI akan campur tangan dan ini akan menconteng arang pada imejnya. Semua pegawai tidak tidur malam cuba mencari jawapan. Pembunuh ini terlalu berhati-hati; tidak ada satu kesan DNA pon yg tertinggal. Tempat kejadian terlalu bersih, pembunuh kejam ini kelihatan pakar dalam kes bunuh. CSI membuat kesimpulan tidak jitu, kemungkinan besar pembunuh ini ada kaitan dengan cold case bunuh beberapa tahun lalu.

Hasil kerja tungkus lumus ini, makmal toksik mendedahkan racun yang digunakan adalah berjenama “Tikusan”. Racun murah ini mudah didapati di kedai-kedai runcit, boleh dibeli dgn harga RM1.20 sepeket. Mangsa akan mati dalam masa sehari jika termakan racun ini.

Meskipun racun telah berjaya dikenal pasti, pembunuh bersiri yg licik ini masih lagi bebas. Dia mungkin akan membunuh lagi. Tiada sebarang kes bunuh sepanjang Ramadan dan Syawal, mungkin pembunuh sedang menggemukkan diri makan di open house. Pihak FBI tidak akan campur tangan dalam kes bunuh-tikus-secara-bersiri ini sehingga pembunuh membunuh tikus lagi

Saudara mara terdekat sedang merancang utk membalas dendam. Kesemua ahli keluarga Mak Siti telah dikuburkan tanpa tanda di tanah perkuburan haram Kelana Jaya.

haha i was actually eyeing that bright red color LG combo machine too hehe.. tapi.. I read in the forums they said it’s better to have two separate machines cuz if one break down, u still hv the other to use. Lagipon you can stack the dryer on top of the front loader washer so this setting actually helps you to save space too.. opss terpanjang plak.. dah boleh buat entry hahahaha

I was washer-hunting two weeks ago, for about three+ weeks I think. I was set to buy my dream washer. Haunting every electrical store that I could find and I could think of, I scrutinized each model and their functions. Memorized the price tags. Tried this and that. Read here and there. I knew what I want but like Aishah said

And, in the end, it’s up to the buyer’s budget kan

So true. Keinginan memang melampau (nafsu wanita ada 9?), I wanted something that would not ruin my favourite clothes, will make clothes less crinkled than other washers that I have used before (believe me, this is an important must-have!) and of course, mestilah tanak nampak baju baru cepat buruk kan?

I really, really, really wanted to buy a front loading washer. Gosh. Look at the prices. But it saves more energy and water compared to the top loading ones. Clothes will be less tangled or wont tangled at all when the laundry is ready to be aired. But.. this comes with a high cost. Like investment, you have to put down more money if you want to earn big, right? Same here. You pay more, in the long run you save money bila time nak bayar api air!

Since I’m on a tight budget and my dream reminded me I would need the money when the time comes, against my will, I bought a top loading washer . Money is king! No money no talk, no available credit limit no swipe man! Nonetheless, I’m pretty satisfied with my pick. I got myself a Toshiba. Wanted to get a Panasonic Aquabeat but it’s wayyy out of my budget, topup a few hundred bucks I could get an LG front loading machine! Forget abt it-lah! My Toshiba has zero standby power consumption, baju tak renyuk sgt and tak terbelit2 dlm machine. I like! Price? Slightly over budget but I’m pleased with myself cuz I managed to bargain from RM1XXX to RMXXX. Wooohoo!

Fussy? Haha. Janji baju tak buruk cepat, mata aku tak sakit memandang, aku puas!

This is it

The time finally has come to launch the project that brought me to the States. Struggling to drag myself off the couch up at 2.00 am this morning, I was half hoping it’s not going to happen ahaha. Lazy bum.

My next two door neighbor’s dog was barking at 2.30 am. I wonder what he saw.. Don’t tell me it was a stranger. I was scared. Would he see me when I ride out my territory? But I was not too worried cuz my next door neighbor’s dog was not barking. He’s the smart one. When I left at 10mins to 3, he was at the gate looking at me. I said to him “tlg tengokkan rumah aku ye“

Good luck to all of us. Hopefully there’d be no HUGE UNSOLVABLE ISSUES. Next two weeks are critical; I’ll be on shift 24/7. I like the morning shift: 600-1430hrs. That’s gonna be fun! Planning to catch a movie. Or window shopping? haha! Macam ada duit kehkehkeh. Night shift will be from 2200-0630hrs. Ok-lah, don’t have to wait till the sun come up before I can hop on my bed! The best of the best part is… I’m entitled to get six days of annual leave for my dedication! Yihaaa!

Owh.. I’m not leaving the sad (bad?) part out. Especially to everyone who is expecting me to buy stuffs with USD price tags, there’ll be no more oversea trips for me. Unless I got myself another project.. or a new job that requires a passport
